You've got a limited bank of credits, a row of weapon and equipment cards, and three aircraft slots marked by big X's. Load a cannon-heavy interceptor for close scraps, strap cluster missiles on a second, maybe throw armor plates on a third and use it as bait. Then you commit. Once the flying starts, it's all mouse: drag to steer your planes across the screen, click to lock and fire, and hope your loadout wasn't a terrible mistake. I kept coming back because the alien waves don't just scale up — they change shape. Early on it's fat, slow drones you can pick off with just about anything. Then you'll see fast scouts that peel off from the main swarm, and later those paired bombers that dive at your formation from opposite sides. One run I loaded all three planes with the cheapest guns to save credits, got absolutely shredded, and realized the game isn't punishing you for being broke — it's punishing you for not thinking like a squadron commander. The right mix of weapons and gear matters more than raw firepower. There's no story to speak of, no cutscenes, just wave after wave of alien steel and a score counter that dares you to do better.
