I don't know why these royal kids are stuck in Thronehold, but I do know their only survival skill is flapping through the air on your command. You tap, they rise. You stop, they drop. That's the whole deal — and it's brutally unfair in the best way. The castle is full of jagged stone edges, low archways, and spikes that appear out of nowhere. One wrong tap and your little prince eats a wall. Restart. Try again. The loop is stupidly addictive. I kept coming back for one more run way past when I should've closed the tab. There's a specific section about ten seconds in where you slide between two vertical pillars. The gap looks generous, but your character drifts faster than you expect, and that third tap has to be featherlight. I slammed into that pillar at least twenty times before I learned to ease off earlier than felt natural. That's the kind of game this is: it teaches you by murdering you. The controls are dead simple but the timing is razor thin. You'll find yourself tilting your head, holding your breath, and then cursing at a pixel-perfect collision. The visual style is simple but clean, with just enough castle grit to make those deaths sting. If you like games that punish you in ten-second bursts and keep you saying "one more try," Thronehold Kids delivers. It won't hold your hand. It won't feel fair.
