Ever tap left when you meant right and watch a cartoon critter get swallowed by glowing lava? That's Hop Hop in a nutshell. You control a little animal hopping upward on an endless rock face, tapping to jump and tilting your taps left or right to dodge the rising death behind you. Coins dangle in your path, and every one you snag feeds into unlocking a new animal skin. The controls are so bare they almost feel like a joke — until you realize the game isn't testing your thumbs, it's testing your panic threshold. The lava accelerates, ledges shrink, and before you know it you're making split-second decisions that would make a traffic cop sweat. The coin loop keeps me coming back more than I'd like to admit.
