Alien Slime

A gooey green blob is loose in the lab, and it's not here to make friends - help it splat, slip, and smash through every security drone.

The first thing you'll notice is how weirdly satisfying the movement feels. You're not walking - you're oozing. Each jump has a sticky, elastic thwang, and landing on a wall lets you cling for half a second before sliding. I kept dying to the same spinning laser in Sector 3 because I forgot to release the jump early. That's the whole game really: remember the slime is slippery, then use it. You can squeeze through narrow vents, bounce off enemy heads, and stretch under low ceilings. One run, I got cornered by two patrolling drones, bounced off the left one's head, hit the ceiling spike, and somehow squeezed through a gap just as the door closed. The timer had already hit red. My hands were sweaty. There's no dialogue, no menus full of upgrades. Just you, a lab full of traps, and an exit sign. The arrow keys handle everything - left, right, jump, and a downward slam if you press down in mid-air. On mobile, the touch controls map those to a small virtual stick and two buttons, which actually works better than I expected for the tight jumps. Enemies aren't pushovers: security drones fire in two-shot bursts, laser grids activate in patterns, and floor turrets only stop tracking you when you go airborne. The last three levels ramp up fast, so if you arrive there with less than 30 lives saved, you'll probably rest - a lot. I won't pretend it's the deepest action game out there. Boss fights are basically bigger versions of regular drones with more shots, and the physics can occasionally glitch you through a moving platform. But the checkpoint system is generous, the death animation is a gooey green pop, and every death sends you back in under two seconds. For a quick unblocked game, that's exactly the rhythm you want. I came for five minutes, stayed until the lab was spotless.

Arrow keys & Mobile touch control

Master the mid-air down slam early. It kills drones in one hit and cancels your horizontal momentum, which saves you from landing on spikes more often than you'd think. Don't fight floor turrets head-on. Jump over their line of sight - they stop tracking while you're airborne, so bounce, then slam. Cling to walls for half a second to scout what's below. It feels like hesitation, but it's really your best tool. Touch controls are fine, but if you're on a laptop, plug in a keyboard. The two-button jump/slam on screen can overlap in your thumbs during panics. Save your downward slam until you see white floors - those are the only surfaces you can break through, so don't waste it on steel.
