Blast Bird is one of those games that looks harmless until you're three deaths deep and can't stop tapping. You control a small bird that launches forward or upward (depending on the level) and you have to thread it through narrow gaps, spikes, or spinning obstacles. One tap gives you a little burst of speed or lift, and that's it. No upgrades, no second chances—just your timing against the level. What got me was the rhythm. After a few runs you stop thinking about each individual tap and start feeling the pattern: short tap, short tap, hold... splat. Then you're back at the start, and the gap you died on looks completely doable. That's the hook. It's the same reason Flappy Bird worked, but Blast Bird adds a bit more chaos with moving hazards and occasional power-ups that shoot you forward like a rocket. If you're looking for a break between heavier games, this is perfect. It loads instantly, no story, no tutorial beyond 'click to fly.' I kept coming back because each run takes about twenty seconds, but the high score lamp keeps flickering just out of reach. Just don't blame me when you lose an hour to it.
