Blockroyale takes the build-and-battle loop and throws it into a tiny arena with a bunch of strangers. You get a short build phase—place blocks, remove mistakes, try to make something that looks cool or clever. Then the voting phase arrives and everyone gets to rate every other player's creation with one to six stars. The more stars you earn, the more points you bank. I kept losing early because I'd treat it like a sandbox and make a huge sprawling base, but the voting favors tight, recognizable shapes. A simple house beats a chaotic tower every time. The real tension comes when you realize the whole lobby is silently judging your blocky mess. It's weirdly social without a chat box. Controls are pure keyboard: WASD to move, number keys to switch block types, left click to place, right click to remove. During voting, click the stars to rate.
