Grab the multi-ball and suddenly you've got three balls ricocheting around, which is chaos in the best way. The laser lets you snipe bricks from the paddle while the ball is still bouncing, and the slow-down capsule saved me more than once when the speed got out of hand. It's not trying to reinvent anything, and that's fine. The star ratings after each level push you to finish faster and with fewer ball losses. I reran level 4 about six times just to get three stars, muttering at the screen every time the ball dipped past my paddle. Prioritize bricks near the top first; gravity will bring the ball back to you anyway. If a level has bricks behind a barrier, use the laser power-up to clear a path instead of waiting for a lucky bounce.
