Bricks Deluxe doesn't play like a typical match-three. You don't swap or rotate anything. Each brick has a color and an arrow pointing to another brick. Click it, and it changes to the color of that target brick. The goal? Fill the color meters on the left side of the screen. Need more red? Find bricks pointing at red ones and click them. Sounds simple, but the board quickly becomes a web of interdependent switches. The real kicker is the chain reactions. I once clicked a single yellow brick near the corner, expecting one puddle of yellow. Instead, that brick turned green, which made a neighboring brick change to green via a different pointer, and suddenly the level's meter for green was overflowing. That's the 'aha' — you have to think two or three moves ahead, mapping how each color change will ripple. Some bricks point diagonally, so a click on the left can affect the right side of the board. It gets genuinely clever. The levels ramp up fast. Early on you can brute-force your way through, but by level eight or nine you'll be staring at the board, planning sequences like a puzzle pro. Each change can lower another meter, so check the target color before committing. Work from the edges inward; outer bricks often have fewer arrows pointing at them, giving you more controlled changes. Use the meters as a guide: if a meter is nearly full, avoid changing bricks away from that color.
