You start with a field of bubbles clustered at the top, and each shot you send up either matches a group of three or more or sticks around making the pile bigger. Sometimes you'll want to clear a color entirely so it stops spawning, other times you'll bank shots off the side walls to reach a pocket that's blocked. I remember one round where I had a single red bubble left in the cannon and exactly two reds hiding behind a wall of green. I bounced it off the left edge at a sharp angle—not expecting much—and it slipped right into the gap, triggering a chain of pops that collapsed half the board. Those moments feel fantastic. It's not flawless. The difficulty ramps up suddenly when you get a run of the same color, and there's no undo button if you accidentally fire the wrong bubble. But the music toggle and pause button in the lower right are handy, and the score display in the upper middle keeps you pushing for a higher number.
