You fire the ball with one click, then guide a paddle along the bottom by moving your mouse or sliding a finger on a touchscreen. The first few bricks shatter with a satisfying little crack, and the ball picks up speed—not unfairly, but enough that you start holding your breath when it ricochets toward a corner. I kept coming back because the difficulty curve feels hand-tuned. Early boards teach you how angles work, then later ones introduce bricks that take multiple hits or power-ups that shrink your paddle when you least need that. There's a moment around level five where the ball clips the edge of your paddle at a weird angle and rockets straight up through a gap you didn't see, clearing three rows at once. That's the hook.
