I have a soft spot for games that let you knock stuff down without consequences. Cannon Ball Shoot scratches that itch perfectly. You're behind a cannon on the left side of the screen, and across the field there's a bunch of stacked boxes, barrels, and the occasional red gunpowder keg. Your job? Bring it all down using as few cannonballs as possible. The physics feel forgiving enough to be fun, but not so loose that you can't plan a clever bank shot. Each level gives you a limited number of shots, so you can't just spam the fire button. I found myself studying the arrangement like a pocket billiards table — should I knock out the bottom left support and let the top half topple, or go straight for the keg to trigger a chain reaction? The keg is the real prize. Hit it dead on and half the screen erupts in a satisfying boom, sending debris flying. You can adjust angle and power with the mouse (or tap and drag if you're on a touchscreen), and the trajectory line helps, but it doesn't eliminate the challenge. What kept me coming back is the simplicity of it. No story, no upgrades, no menus. Just you, a cannon, and some very smashable architecture. It's the kind of game you open during a five-minute break and end up playing for twenty. If you enjoy angry-birds-style destruction without the bird puns, this is worth a few rounds.

Drag slowly when setting power — a tiny adjustment changes where the ball lands a lot. If a shot doesn't work, don't restart immediately. You might have set up a chain reaction for the next ball.
