That's the core loop: move quietly, check corners, and shoot before you get jumped. The controls are straightforward WASD with sprint, crouch, and prone, but the aiming is where you'll live or die. Right-click to aim down sights — it slows you down but gives you a fighting chance at headshots. Ammo is scarce enough that every missed shot stings. I learned to switch between weapons depending on the range: the shotgun is brutal up close but loud, while the rifle keeps you safer at distance. Using grenades (G) can clear a room, but the fuse time means you'd better know what's on the other side.
