📝Dexitroid Overview

Move both cursors left. Now right. Now one each way. Sounds laughably easy until the screen starts throwing patterns that punish every millisecond of hesitation.

💬What is Dexitroid?

I spent my first three rounds of Dexitroid convinced my keyboard was broken. You press right, both cursors slide right. You press left, they both go left. But hit both at once and the red one goes left while the green one goes right. Let go and they snap back to center like they're on rubber bands. That's the entire control scheme, and it's either genius or cruelty depending on which wave you're on. The game throws stuff at you that forces you to think in terms of cursor positions rather than button presses. A wall of blocks with a gap only on the left? Hold left. A split path where red needs to dodge right while green squeezes left? Jam both keys and pray your fingers land at the exact same time. The real killer moment for me was when I realized I could hold one key and tap the other briefly to nudge just one cursor off-center. Took about twenty deaths before that clicked. Honestly, Dexitroid is less about reflexes and more about mapping your brain to a weird two-axis input. It's ugly, it's minimal, and it will absolutely wreck your sense of left and right for about ten minutes after you stop playing. That's not a bug, it's the whole point.

👥How to Play Dexitroid

Right= Move Cursors to Right side. Left= Move Cursors to Left side. Right+Left= Red Cursor to Left side; Green Cursor to Right side No key pressed= Cursors back to center of the screen.

Game Tips

Practice holding one key and tapping the other to nudge a single cursor without resetting both. Don't fight the snap-back; sometimes the center is exactly where you need to be. Master the "both keys" move early — it's the only way to split the cursors, and it's the majority of advanced screens. If you're dying repeatedly on a specific pattern, slow down and think in terms of cursor end positions, not button sequences. Your hands will get confused; give them a few seconds between attempts.
