Earth Dunk isn't your standard basketball sim. You're not dribbling a leather ball down a polished court—you're hurling a whole planet at a neon hoop while three other players try to knock it out of the sky. The physics feel deliberately bouncy and a little unhinged, so shots that look impossible often ricochet in your favor if you read the angles right. Matches are quick, usually 90 seconds, and the lobby fills fast, so you rarely wait long between rounds. My first 'aha' moment came when I stopped chasing the Earth and started predicting where it would bounce after a block. The rim has a weird magnetic pull when the ball's spin is high, so a half-court lob can suddenly curve into a slam dunk if you hold the jump button just before contact. There's also a power meter that charges as you move; saving it for a full-charge dunk gives you double points but sends the planet flying unpredictably. I learned to use half-charge for controlled finishes and full-charge only when I had an open lane. Since it's an io game, you're always up against humans, which means no two matches feel the same.
