📝Frog Overview

Hop from lily pad to lily pad and untangle a pond full of stubborn frogs in this brain-tickling puzzle.

💬What is Frog?

I won't pretend Frog is a flashy game. It's a quiet, stubborn puzzle that gets under your skin. You're given a grid of lily pads, some occupied by green frogs and some by brown ones (or maybe just one color depending on the level). Your job: drag a frog onto an adjacent pad to make it hop over another frog, removing the hopped frog from the board. The goal is to end with exactly one frog sitting in the center pad. Easy to say, brutal to do. The first few levels lull you into a false sense of competence. Then you'll hit a board where every move seems to make things worse. That's when the real game starts. You start planning three, four, five moves ahead, undoing entire sequences in your head. I had one board where I was absolutely convinced the game was broken—twenty minutes later I finally saw the one opening I'd been ignoring. That moment of dawning clarity is why I kept coming back. Drag and drop controls are smooth; you can pick up a frog, wiggle it over a valid pad, and the game will snap it into place if the move is legal. Invalid moves just slide back, which is less frustrating than a buzzer. No timers, no score chasing, just you and a pond full of frogs. If you need a break from explosion-heavy games, this is the perfect palate cleanser.

Game Tips

Start from the outside edges. Corner frogs have fewer moves, so clear them early. Never hop into a dead end unless it's part of a sacrifice sequence. Work backwards from the final center pad—where does the last frog need to come from? Use the undo button liberally; there's no penalty for experimenting. If you're stuck, clear the board and restart. Fresh eyes usually spot a new path. Keep frogs of the same color separated until you know which one is the survivor.
