Galaxy Warriors throws you straight into the cockpit with no hand-holding. The first wave feels almost gentle—three or four enemy fighters drift in, you squeeze the trigger, they pop. Then wave two hits and suddenly there are flanking drones, shielded heavies, and a rain of red plasma you have to thread like a needle. I died twice before I learned to stop hugging the bottom of the screen. Every kill drops credits, and some ships cough up temporary boosters—rapid fire, spread shot, shield. You'll hoard these for the later waves, especially the spread shot, because the screen gets crowded fast. The upgrade shop between waves is simple: speed, damage, health, fire rate. No fluff, no loot boxes. Just spend your scrap and get back out there. The enemy variety keeps it interesting. Little gnats that dive at you, big tanks that soak damage and spray bullets, maybe a boss every few waves. The music is pulsing but not annoying, and the controls feel tight—though I found keyboard arrows smoother than the mouse aim on my laptop. It's the kind of game you tell yourself you'll play for five minutes, then you're three upgrades deep and it's midnight.

Spend your first credits on fire rate, not damage—more bullets means more chances to hit those fast flankers. Save spread shot boosters for waves with lots of small enemies; they clear screens better than the narrow shot. Don't camp at the bottom edge. Give yourself room to dodge vertical dive attacks. If you see a shielded enemy, focus it down first because it eats shots and blocks your movement. Collect credits immediately after a wave ends—they disappear if the next wave starts and you're not over them.
