The drag-and-drop mechanic is dead simple: pieces sit in a tray on the side, board in the middle. No rotation needed, thankfully. I'm not sure why more jigsaw games don't skip rotation, but it instantly makes this feel less fussy. The real challenge isn't the image itself – it's that half the pieces are red, green, or brown and nearly identical. My last puzzle had a skewer loaded with red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and red onion. After twenty minutes of trial and error, I was still hunting for a piece that fit between two tomato slices. That's when I started sorting pieces by their background texture: the wooden board, the dark grill marks, the scattered parsley flakes. Total game changer. The only downside is the small piece hitboxes can be finicky on mobile, but on desktop with a mouse it's smooth.
