📝Ghoul Overview

Click your way through a haunted horde where every tap spawns another shrieking ghoul and the soul counter never stops climbing.

💬What is Ghoul?

Ghoul is one of those clicker games that starts off looking like a goofy Halloween flash toy, then quietly steals your afternoon. You click a big, ugly ghoul over and over, collecting souls. The first upgrade costs 10 souls, then 25, then 100, and before you know it you're doing mental math on how many clicks per second you'll need for the next one. It's absurdly simple, but there's a rhythm to the tapping that feels almost hypnotic. What got me hooked wasn't the clicking itself, but the moment I unlocked passive soul generation. Suddenly the ghouls were making souls while I just watched the counter climb. Then you'll start buying upgrades that multiply everything, and the screen fills with little green monsters doing a ghostly conga line. It's not deep or strategic, but it doesn't pretend to be. If you want a mindless spooky time-waster that still gives you that 'one more upgrade' itch, this is it. Just don't blame me when you look up and realize it's been two hours. One thing I appreciate is that the game doesn't lock anything behind an ad wall or a fake 'premium' currency. Everything is earned through clicking, which is rare nowadays. The spooky art style is more cartoonish than scary, so it's fine for younger players too. It ran perfectly in my browser, even on a cheap school laptop, and the save feature meant I could come back later without losing my ghoul army.

Game Tips

Buy the passive soul generator early; it pays for itself within minutes. Keep an eye out for random multiplier events that triple your souls for a short window. Use two fingers on a touchscreen to double your tapping speed without any upgrade. Prioritize the crypt upgrade before any other building for the biggest early boost. Save up for the auto-tap upgrade and let the game play itself while you make a sandwich.
