Match four or more same-colored hexes in any direction and they pop in a satisfying little burst, clearing room for the next shape. The first few minutes feel meditative — almost too easy. Then you realize every piece you place needs to serve two or three future placements, not just the immediate cluster. I had a board with a perfect red cluster forming on the left and a messy green blob spreading right. One poorly rotated L-shaped piece killed the whole run because I was too greedy, trying to save space instead of taking the guaranteed four-match. That's the core tension: short-term clears versus long-term geometry. Since pieces come in odd shapes (triads, zigzags, long chains), you'll constantly rotate them mentally before the game lets you commit. There's no undo, by the way. Once it's down, it's down. If you do run out of space, the restart button is right there, and you'll probably hit it more than you'd like. But that's the fun — each reset is a fresh board with a slightly different piece order.
