There's no kicking in Impostor Headball, and that's the entire joke. You control a tiny, blank-faced impostor on a flat arena, and the only way to move the ball is to bonk it with your head. Left and right slide you across the floor, up launches you skyward, and that's your whole toolkit. It sounds dumb simple — it is dumb simple — until the ball clips the top of your skull at a weird angle and bounces straight into your own goal. I lost my first three matches because I kept jumping too early. The hitbox is tight, right on the head, not the body. Once you start tracking the ball's shadow instead of the ball itself, you'll suddenly land clean hits. Notice how the ball reacts differently depending on your vertical momentum: smack it while rising and it rockets high; clip it on the way down and it dribbles forward. Those little differences are why rematches don't get stale. If you have a friend nearby, pass them the second set of keys. Player two usually sits on WASD or the opposite arrows, making this a proper couch duel. Even solo, the impostor's dead-eyed stare as you score is weirdly satisfying. It won't replace your main sports game, but for a five-minute arcade break it hits hard.

Up make impostor jump upwards so you can hit the soccer ball higher, left takes you to the left side of the screen and right to the right side of the screen.

Watch the ball's shadow to judge exactly when to jump, especially after it bounces off the wall. Hit the ball on your way up to send it high; hit while falling to keep it low and awkward for your opponent. Don't chase the ball along the ground — move under its landing spot instead. If you're playing a friend, split the keyboard so one takes arrows and the other WASD. After scoring, reset to center quickly; opponents love cheap instant counters. Use the corners for bounce shots that catch the other player moving the wrong way.
