Last Quiver is one of those games that looks simple until you realize you've been playing for forty minutes and your mouse hand is sore. You're a lone archer with a limited supply of arrows (the last quiver, obviously), and waves of stick-figure raiders, wolves, or whatever the game decides to throw at you are marching in from both sides. Click anywhere to loose an arrow at that spot—no crosshair, no auto-aim, just your raw aim and timing. I died a lot before I figured out that leading your targets matters more than spamming shots. The arrows arc slightly, so you're not just pointing and clicking; you're judging distance, wind (metaphorically), and the exact moment a wolf pauses mid-stride. The real gut-punch moment came when I had three arrows left, two wolves on screen, and a boss-lookin' brute stomping toward my wooden tower. Do I take out the fast movers and pray I can dodge the brute? Or dump everything into the big guy and hope the little ones miss? That's the game—decisions under pressure, with zero reloads until you clear a wave. There's no upgrade tree, no loot boxes, just pure arcade survival. The visuals are intentionally retro: flat colors, simple shapes, and a sky that changes color as the sun sets, making later waves feel grim. Sound design is minimal but the 'thwip' of your bow and the crunch of a hit are weirdly satisfying. If you're into games like Bowman or Stick Archer, you'll feel right at home.
