📝Legend Street Fighter Overview
Pick a fighter, memorize one busted combo, and then walk into arcade mode knowing the CPU will still read your inputs.
💬What is Legend Street Fighter?
There's no hand-holding here. Legend Street Fighter drops you onto a stage with a life bar, a timer, and a CPU opponent that already knows you're going to jump. The roster leans into obvious archetypes — the fireball zoner, the rushdown kickboxer, the grappler with a command grab that feels like it should be banned. Each fighter has a handful of special moves, and half the fun is labbing out which normal cancels into what special. The first time you convert a crouching medium kick into a super and watch the health bar melt is genuinely better than it has any right to be for a browser game.
The AI is cheap in the way only classic fighting game AI can be. It reads inputs, punishes whiffs, and occasionally just stands there doing nothing while you panic. But that's part of the charm. You'll lose to the final boss three times, then win with a pixel of health left and feel like you've earned something. There's also a local versus mode if you want to actually play with a friend on the same keyboard — though both players fighting over arrow keys and WASD gets chaotic fast.
Underneath the retro art and slightly crunchy sound effects, it's a surprisingly solid fighter. Special moves come out when you input them correctly (most of the time), combos feel weighty, and the different stages give you just enough visual variety to keep repeated runs from getting stale. I kept coming back to the ninja-looking character because his teleport cross-up is filthy, and no one at the office wants to hear me talk about it anymore.

✨Game Tips
Learn one simple combo in training mode before touching arcade — a basic jump-in into crouching normal into special will carry you.
Block low by default; most grounded specials in Legend Street Fighter hit mid or low.
Save your super for when the enemy whiffs a heavy move; you'll have time to react.
Don't bother trying to jump over the fireball spam — walk forward and block, then punish.
Play local versus to learn matchups; the CPU won't teach you how to deal with a human who actually throws projectiles at weird ranges.
