Lost Pyramid doesn't care about balanced duels. Player 1 gets a gun and arrow keys. Player 2 gets fists, a grenade, and WASD. That's the whole premise—and honestly, it works better than it sounds. You'll both spawn inside a dusty pyramid arena, and within five seconds someone's already spamming their attack button. Player 1 can keep distance and pick shots, but Player 2's grenade (K key) has a nasty habit of bouncing off walls and landing exactly where you're standing. The first time my buddy tossed one, I thought I was safe behind a pillar. I was not. The movement is simple but tight enough that dodging feels responsive. Player 2's punch (L) seems weak at first, but if you close the gap while Player 1 is reloading—or just waiting for their shot cooldown—you can land three hits fast. And because there's no health bar visible half the time, every round ends with someone shouting "How did that kill me?" Then you rematch. And rematch. The grenade cooldown is the real wildcard: it charges faster than you'd expect, which forces Player 1 to keep moving or eat splash damage. Lost Pyramid is best as a couch game. Don't bother with a solo run—the AI, if there is one, isn't the point. Grab a friend, agree on house rules (no corner camping, no grenade spam), and accept that whoever memorizes the map's sightlines first will dominate. It's not a deep fighting game, but it's fast, loud, and exactly the kind of thing you play while trash-talking. Ten minutes in, you'll both be sweaty and calling for one more round.
