There's something oddly satisfying about watching two grubby kopeks snap together into a shiny ruble. You get a random coin on each turn and drop it onto a wooden board. If it touches an identical coin, they merge into the next denomination up. Keep merging and eventually you'll hit the max coin — that one doesn't merge, it just vanishes with a pop and dumps a fat pile of points onto your score. The whole thing has a chunky Soviet aesthetic: hammer and sickle stamps, faded reds, and coins that look like they've been in a pocket since 1985. I won't lie, I loaded this up expecting a brainless time killer and ended up restarting four times in a row. At first the board gives you easy pairs, but then the game starts handing you 1-kopeck pieces when you've got a corner full of 10-ruble coins and no room to breathe. My usual strategy fell apart when I buried a 5-kopeck piece under three 1-kopeck pieces with no match in sight. You have to think two or three drops ahead: keep big coins along one edge, never trap a high-value coin in the middle of junk, and if you see two matching coins with a gap between them, resist the urge to fill that gap unless you know another of that same coin is coming. It's not deep, but it's exactly what a hypercasual merge game should be. Quick rounds, a nice escalating panic as the board fills, and a solid dopamine hit when the biggest coin finally disappears. I kept saying "one more round" and suddenly twenty minutes were gone. If you like merge puzzles with a twist of historical flavor, this one's a keeper.
