Push a block into an enemy, now the dragon has a clear shot. Swap the bat with a shield monster, suddenly the goblin can walk through. There's a turn limit per level, but the real pressure is using each monster at the right moment. I burned the dragon's fire early on a stage with three armored grunts and had no way to break their shields. Restart, rethink. That's the loop. The art is bright and chunky, almost like a board game come to life, and the sound effects are satisfyingly crunchy when you squash a slime soldier. If you get stuck, don't grind — look at the level from the exit backwards. The solution usually involves a sacrifice or two. Some monsters are meant to be bait. That took me an embarrassing number of tries to accept.
