You have to think about which octopus to tap first. Sometimes the smallest one in the middle is the key—its explosion reaches more neighbors than the fat one in the corner. The ink travels fast, and if you hesitate, the chain fizzles before you can extend it. I restarted a few boards just to get that perfect full-board clear, where every single octopus pops in one glorious chain. It's deceptively simple but later levels demand you plan two or three moves ahead. The timing matters too. Tap too slowly and the chain stalls. Tap too quickly and you might waste a tap on an octopus that was about to pop anyway. It scratches that same itch as popping bubble wrap, but with more strategy and way more tentacles.

Each tap/click on an octopus will grow it. Once full an octopus will explode and spread it's ink to neighbors octopus, that will grow them, making a chain reaction ! Be smart ! Be fast ! Blast them all !

Scan the whole board before tapping anything—look for clusters where one explosion can reach several neighbors at once. Don't always start with the biggest octopus; a smaller one in the center often triggers a wider chain. Keep an eye on the ink's travel speed and tap your next target while it's still spreading, not after it stops. If a chain fizzles early, reset the level quickly instead of trying to salvage it—speed is crucial for full clears. Later boards add limited taps or tricky layouts, so count your moves and prioritize high-connectivity octopuses.
