Orc Invasion throws you straight into a desperate last stand. You're manning a position, and a stream of green-skinned brutes is charging at you from the treeline. After the first few waves, the orcs start coming from multiple angles, and you'll learn to prioritize the big ones carrying battering rams while ignoring the little ankle-biters until they're closer. I kept dying on wave 7 because I got greedy trying to line up perfect headshots. Then I realized the real trick is rhythm—fire, switch target, fire again, don't stop moving. The game rewards steady aim over panic clicking. There's something viscerally satisfying about dropping an orc mid-charge and seeing the next one stumble over the body. The sound design is minimal but the thunk of an arrow hitting flesh is exactly what you want. What makes it stick is the escalation. You'll think you've got a handle on it, then three armoured orcs appear at once and you have to decide in half a second whether to finish off the one at the gate or pick off the one about to flank.
