Pigs vs Blocks doesn't bother with story. You're a pig, there are blocks, and the blocks really don't like pigs. Your entire job is to keep the little guy alive while the screen fills with falling, sliding, occasionally spinning hunks of wood and stone. Mouse controls the whole thing — left-click to move or drag, sometimes a quick click makes the pig charge. I lost a dozen rounds before I stopped trying to dodge everything and started picking which blocks were actually worth avoiding. The pacing ramps up fast. Early stages give you wide gaps and plenty of room, then suddenly you're threading between two block columns with maybe a pig's width of clearance. There's a satisfying snap when a block clips the edge and busts into pieces instead of flattening you. Collecting golden acorns (or whatever those shiny things are) gives you a brief shield or a score boost, but don't tunnel vision on them. I kept dying because I'd chase a coin right into a block's landing zone. The arcade loop is tight and brainless in the best way. No ads every ten seconds, no forced tutorials — just click, move, survive, see a number go up. It's the kind of game you open for two minutes and then realize forty have passed. If you like simple twitch games where the only real enemy is your own greed, this one's a solid pick.
