Pintown doesn't look like much at first—a handful of pegs, a few balls, a goal. Then you click to pull a pin and the whole board shifts. That's the hook. The goal is simple: guide every ball into the bucket without losing any, and you do it by removing or repositioning the pins scattered across each stage. Some pins just redirect a ball, others act as bridges or blockers, and a few are duds that ruin your run if you touch them at the wrong moment. I won't pretend I breezed through it. There's a level around the midpoint where two balls launch simultaneously from opposite corners and you have to set up a cross pattern in under six clicks. I stared at that screen for a solid five minutes before I realized I could bounce one ball off the underside of a pin to delay it half a second. That tiny timing trick saved the level. It's that kind of puzzle: logical, a little fiddly, but always fair once you see the trick. The mouse-only controls sound limiting, but they're perfect here. Click a pin, it pops out. Click an empty hole, a pin drops in—assuming you have pins left. Later stages mix in rotating platforms, locked pins that need a key, and crumbling boards that force you to plan two or three moves ahead. There's no timer, so you can fiddle with angles as long as you like. That's good, because some of these layouts are brutal. Pintown won't blow you away with flashy graphics, but it's a solid little brain teaser that respects your patience.

Look for pins that block holes rather than direct balls—sometimes that's the safer play. If a level has a key, grab it before you worry about the bucket; locked pins change everything.
