Grab a friend on the same keyboard and trade shots, trash talk optional. The physics aren't perfect – occasionally a ball will slide a hair too far – but the tension of lining up a thin cut shot with the game on the line is real. I once sank the 8-ball on a cross-table bank after my opponent scratched, and we both just stared at the screen for a second. On mobile, touch controls map the cue stick to your finger, so you can drag back and release with surprising accuracy. It's not a deep simulation, and pros will miss the fine power adjustments, but for a quick unblocked match it scratches the itch.
