📝Protect My Dog Overview
Sketch a shield before the swarm reaches your pup — every line counts in this deceptively tricky drawing puzzler.
💬What is Protect My Dog?
I’ll admit, I expected Protect My Dog to be another saccharine time-waster. Then level 12 happened. You get a dog sitting there, minding its own business, and a swarm of bees heading straight for it. Your only tool is a marker — draw a line or a box with your mouse and it instantly becomes a solid wall. The bees smack into it, bounce off, or get trapped in little pockets if you're clever. The catch? Ink runs out fast, so every scribble has to count. I found myself sketching tiny triangular shields just above the dog's head, then drawing a sloped ramp to redirect the swarm off-screen. Positions of bees change, sometimes there are multiple dogs, and walls only last a few seconds, so timing matters as much as geometry.
What kept me hooked is the physics. Lines aren't perfect — they wobble if you draw too fast, and a jagged edge can deflect a bee straight at the dog's nose. One level had bees spawning from both sides, so I drew a U-shape around the dog, but the bees were bouncing inside the U and stinging anyway. That's when I learned to leave a gap and use the wall to angle them away. You'll fail a lot, but the retry is instant and the solution often feels obvious in hindsight (the most frustrating kind).
It's not a fluffy game despite the cute dog — more like an engineering sandbox with a very fluffy victim. If you like drawing puzzles where one extra millimetre of line changes everything, Protect My Dog will eat your afternoon.
👥How to Play Protect My Dog
Create a drawing line using your mouse.
✨Game Tips
Draw a wide U-shape around the dog to bounce bees away from both sides.
Use short strokes instead of one long continuous line to save ink.
Leave a small gap at the top so trapped bees can escape upward instead of stinging.
Try drawing a sloped ramp to redirect bees off-screen entirely.
Walls only last a few seconds, so trigger them right before bees arrive.
On levels with multiple dogs, prioritize protecting the one closest to the swarm.
