That's Puppy Race in a nutshell: you're behind the wheel (or paws?) of a determined little dog, and every race is a chaotic scramble to the finish. The track twists through cartoon backyards, past garden hoses and overturned trash cans, and honestly the scenery alone makes it worth a lap. Controls are dead simple — arrow keys on desktop, touch on mobile — but don't mistake simple for easy. Your puppy accelerates on its own, so your whole job is steering and not eating fence. I clipped a corner on the second lap, went airborne for half a second, and somehow landed three places ahead. That kind of nonsense is exactly why I kept coming back. You'll also spot speed pads and the occasional treat that gives you a boost, but grabbing them often means drifting off the clean line, so there's always a trade-off. It's not a deep racing sim, and it won't punish you with tire wear or fuel management. What it will do is give you six or seven minutes of pure, slightly ridiculous racing where the only stakes are bragging rights over a cartoon schnauzer. For a quick browser game, that's plenty.
