Shot Gems looks simple at first—tap, fire, match. Then the board starts creeping down and you realize every wasted shot is one step closer to game over. It sticks where it lands, and if you connect three or more of the same color, they pop in a satisfying little burst. The angle matters more than you'd think: bounce gems off the walls to reach clusters hiding behind other rows. I kept getting greedy trying to set up huge combos, only to leave one stray gem blocking everything. The real hook is that the board isn't static. With each shot, new rows inch down. Clear enough clusters, and sometimes the whole screen rearranges. There's no timer, which I appreciate—you can plan your shot as long as you need. When you're one move from losing, aim for the lowest same-colored pair you can reach.
