📝Slime Knight Overview

Leap, slash, and ricochet off walls as a gooey knight hunting a corrupted king through trap-filled towers—can you survive all 20 floors?

💬What is Slime Knight?

Slime Knight feels like a lost Game Boy action platformer—simple controls, brutal level design, and that one-more-run pull. You've got two moves: jump and throw swords. That's it. But the game wrings a surprising amount of variety out of those two buttons. X, Space, Up Arrow, or right-click gets you airborne. S, C, or left-click hurls a blade. On mobile, you get virtual buttons that actually work, which is rarer than it should be. The first thing I noticed is how fast you die. Spikes, crumbling floors, archers on ledges that you can't reach from the ground. At first I just spammed sword throws and hoped for the best. Then I figured out you can throw while jumping, which opens up a whole new rhythm. You leap over a gap, toss a sword at the archer mid-flight, and land on a platform that was hidden behind him. That moment clicked for me—the game isn't about reaction speed, it's about planning your arc. Bosses are the real test. The floor 8 boss, a giant knight made of the same goo as you, telegraphs a slam attack with a white flash. If you jump too early, you land right in it. If you jump too late, you eat a sword. I died eleven times before finding the sweet spot, and I'm not ashamed to say I shouted at my screen. But the respawn is instant, so you're back in the fight before the frustration settles. That's good design. Slime Knight isn't long, but it's tight, and it rewards patience more than raw skill.

👥How to Play Slime Knight

Desktop: -X, Space, Up Arrow, or Right Click to Jump. -S, C, or Left Click to Throw Swords. Mobile: -Ingame Controls.

Game Tips

Don't save your sword throws—they're unlimited, so send a constant stream at anything that moves. Learn which platforms crumble by standing still for half a second before you commit your jump. On desktop, use Space to jump and S to throw; clicking with the mouse will get you killed when things get frantic. The floor 8 boss flashes white before each slam—jump immediately after the flash, not before. On mobile, slide your thumbs to the edges of the screen after the first death; the buttons are small but responsive. Practice throwing swords while mid-air on floor 2, because later archers are impossible to hit from the ground.
