Stair Rush hooks you fast. You're a little runner on a floating track, and the only thing keeping you from falling into the void is a series of stairs you build on the fly. Hold to sprint, drag to slide left or right, and release when you need a split-second pause. That release mechanic really separates the button-mashers from the planners – I died a dozen times before I learned to feather it around corners. The controls are deceptively simple, but the level design gets mean in the best way. Paths narrow to a single lane, moving platforms force you to time your crossing, and crumbling tiles punish hesitation. There's a satisfying rhythm once you get it: dash forward, nudge into the center, release just before a gap so you don't overshoot, then hammer the hold again. One run I finally strung together fifteen perfect sections, and my hands were sweating by the end. That's the good stuff. If you're on PC, arrow keys or A/D do the job, but touch feels more precise for the quick taps. The graphics are bright and clean – no clutter, just you and the next staircase. It's the kind of game you open for two minutes and suddenly it's been half an hour.

Release just before a tight turn; you'll stop building stairs and slide into the curve without launching off. Stick to the center lane when the path narrows; edges are where most runs die. Watch the light change on the next platform – it's your best cue for when to start holding again. Don't try to dodge everything at once; prioritize gaps over moving obstacles, they kill faster.
