Steve and Alex Dungeons is exactly what it sounds like: a two-player, Minecraft-flavored dungeon brawler that actually respects your time. You and a friend drop into a series of underground rooms stuffed with skeletons, zombies, and the occasional creeper that blows a hole in your carefully planned strategy. The blocky visuals are charmingly crude, and the combat has a nice chunky feel — swings connect with a satisfying thud, and loot pops out in little bursts of color. I played with a buddy using one keyboard (WASD for Steve, arrows for Alex) and we kept accidentally punching each other until we figured out spacing. That's the charm.
