You're rolling a heavily armored tank through a wrecked battlefield, and everything else out there wants you dead. The difficulty ramps up in waves, and by wave five you're fighting three or four tanks at once. It's not a game that holds your hand, but it's fair. When I finally cleared a wave with a single sliver of health left, I genuinely exhaled. No grinding, no unlocks, just your aim and your ability to read the battlefield.

Keep moving after every shot so enemy shells can't zero in on you. Use the edges of the map to funnel enemies into narrow kill zones. Aim for the rear armor; side and rear hits do far more damage than frontal shots. Grab weapon pickups fast—they despawn after a few seconds. Don't camp behind one piece of cover for long; the AI will flank you. If you're low on health, retreat behind a wall and bait enemies into chasing you one at a time.
