You spawn with a pistol and no map, and the zombies are already shuffling toward you from the dark. That first wave feels easy until you realize the pistol clicks empty fast. I died three times before I learned to stop spraying and start using the knife (L) when they get two steps away. One slash drops the basic walkers, and it saves bullets for the fast ones that sprint in from the sides. The real survival skill is weapon swapping with Q. The shotgun chews through a crowd, but the reload window is exactly when a zombie bites you. Grenades (H) clear a doorway or narrow gap when you're cornered, and the air strike (J) is your panic button. Don't waste it on two zombies. I saved mine until the screen filled with runners, and it wiped them all — that's the moment the game clicked. It's not a polished AAA shooter, but the blood splatters and the way bodies pile up give it a grindhouse charm. Play with sound on; you'll hear a zombie behind you before you see it. Keep moving in a wide circle, loop around obstacles, and never stand still to reload. If you like simple, brutal wave survival, this one will eat an hour before you notice.

Grenades (H) are best for doorways or narrow gaps, not open ground. Don't reload near a corpse; the next zombie is usually right behind it.
