I didn't expect much from a game called Breaking Fall, but ten minutes later I was still trying to beat my own record for the softest landing. The physics feel surprisingly weighty — when you nail a landing, he squishes into the disc like a blob of dough, and when you miss, the crunch is almost personal. The levels ramp up from simple vertical drops to wild obstacle courses where you're juggling multiple falls at once or angling your clicks to bounce him toward a target. I kept coming back to the 'office tower' stage where you have to thread him through open windows while the floors scroll past — get him through three windows without a splat and you'll feel like a precision surgeon. There's no story, no filler, just you versus terminal velocity. It's the kind of game that looks dumb in screenshots but feels weirdly satisfying in your hands. Mouse-only controls mean you can play it with one hand while pretending to work. Just don't blame me if your wrist gets tired from all that frantic clicking.
