I won't pretend the controls are friendly at first—they're not. You'll circle an opponent, watching their shoulder twitch before swinging, and that half-second read decides everything. Crouch under high swings, jump over low sweeps, or simply space yourself just outside their reach. The AI isn't a mindless punching bag; it feints, backs off, and punishes greedy combos. I lost my first four matches because I treated it like a button masher. Once I started treating each exchange like a mini-duel, the fights became brutal and satisfying. There's not much fluff here—no story, no progression to speak of, just you and a succession of enemies in a sunbaked arena. If you want a quick, skill-based 3D brawler that doesn't hold your hand, this scratches that itch. It's rough around the edges, but the combat core is solid, and landing a fully charged heavy attack on a blocking opponent feels absolutely vile in the best way.
