Hide Heist drops you into a series of 3D spaces—banks, mansions, maybe a museum or two—and tells you the only rule that counts: don't get caught. You'll creep around in first person, using WASD to move and your mouse to glance over your shoulder every three seconds. The guards aren't geniuses, but they're persistent. They have patrol routes, flashlights, and a nasty habit of turning around right when you think you're safe. I spent ten minutes crouched behind a desk once because a guard stopped to tie his shoe or something. That's the tension right there. The heist part is straightforward on paper: find the loot, grab it, reach the exit. Actually doing it means reading patterns, waiting for noise cues, and sometimes just bolting for a doorway and praying nobody saw you. Left click grabs items, opens doors, and drops you into lockers or closets if you're lucky enough to find one before the guard spots you. Touch players drag to look and move, and it works, but I'd recommend a mouse and keyboard for finer control. It's not a long game, but the short missions are perfect for a quick adrenaline hit between classes. What kept me coming back is how compact it feels. You learn the levels, then get cocky, then get caught in a closet with a guard staring right through the slats. There's no combat, no magic, just you and your own stupid decisions.
