The AI isn't brilliant, but it's predictable enough to exploit: predators will chase you for a while, then give up if you put distance between you. That's where the speed control shines. I kept a thumb on the 1 key to bait a lion, then hit 3 and bolted when it lunged. That loop of risk and retreat kept me coming back. There's no story or quest list, just survival and exploration. The map is a decent size, with rocky outcrops, dry riverbeds, and scattered trees. You can pick fights, scavenge kills from other predators, or just run around. It won't win awards for graphics, but the movement feels okay and the bite has a meaty crunch sound. If you're into animal simulators, this one's worth a shot for an afternoon.
