Peak Sniper doesn't waste time with tutorials. You're dropped at the foot of a steep, trap-filled slope and told to reach the top. Drag your character left or right, thread between swinging hammers and crumbling ledges, and somehow keep your nerve. The controls feel twitchy at first—almost too twitchy—but after a few runs I started anticipating the obstacle rhythm instead of reacting to it. The camera follows tight behind your back, which makes judging gaps tricky, and that's exactly the point. Reaching the summit is only half the job. Up top you'll find a control console that turns the game into a sniper duel. A single ball sits ready, and your goal is to launch it at climbers below. Hit someone and they freeze mid-step, stuck watching everyone else crawl past. The ball doesn't travel instantly, so you have to read where a target is heading, not where they are. I missed three straight shots before I learned to lead by about half a character width. It's a short, sharp loop: climb, snipe, maybe get sniped yourself, then climb again. There's no story and no loadout screen—just fast 3D competition with satisfying ragdoll freezes. Every match lasts a couple of minutes, so losing stings less than it should. You'll find yourself saying 'one more try' until the room gets dark. Perfect for a quick round between classes or while pretending to work.

When you reach the console, don't fire immediately; wait until a rival is directly below to guarantee the freeze. Lead moving targets slightly because the ball takes a moment to travel. If you fall early, restart right away rather than wasting time on a doomed climb.
