You're mid-air, board spinning, and the only thing between you and a faceplant is a split-second timing check. Skateboard Boy starts simple — a kid on a deck weaving through traffic cones and construction scaffolding — but once you realize those villainous characters you keep sideswiping are actually collectible, the whole run changes. Each one you grab adds a new ability, and the more delinquents you amass, the less the obstacles matter. I kept coming back just to see what the next unlock would do, even when I knew a late-game jump was going to send me into a dumpster. The obstacles aren't just set dressing either. There's a real rhythm to the chaos: a moving bus here, a sudden barricade there, and that one section where the ground literally crumbles under your wheels. You'll learn to read the incoming pattern instead of reacting to it, which is when the game stops feeling like a runner and starts feeling like a skateboard puzzle. The pixel art keeps everything readable, so you never blame the visuals for a wipeout — just your own twitchy thumbs. It's not a long game, but it doesn't need to be. You'll rerun the same stretch a dozen times because collecting the full roster of weirdos is weirdly satisfying. My only gripe? The hitbox on the low-hanging sign feels a tad generous to the sign. Save your power-up for the moving bus cluster, not the first barricade you see. If you eat it on a long rail, don't respawn mashing buttons — wait for the obstacle pattern to reset.
