I don't know why I keep coming back to these one-tap ball games, but Stack Ball Twist 2 has that exact pull. You're a heavy ball sitting on a spiral tower made of colored blocks. Tap and the ball smashes downward through everything in its path—unless the block is black. Touch a black block and it's instant restart. The twist here, at least from what I can tell, is the tower rotates as you descend, so you need to time your smashes a little differently than the original. The rhythm is what hooks you. Once you get into a flow, chaining through a dozen orange and green blocks feels incredible. Then a black slice appears out of nowhere and you slam into it because you got greedy. That's on you, not the game. I found myself muttering 'one more run' way too often. Visually it's clean, minimal 3D, nothing flashy to hide behind. The physics feel weighty—when you hold down, the ball grinds through multiple layers and you have to judge exactly when to release so you don't careen into a black section. There's no story, no upgrades I've spotted yet, just the loop. Some levels feel random; some are clearly designed to bait you into smashing too fast. For a browser game, that's enough. If you liked Helix Jump or the original Stack Ball, this scratches that same itch, but the rotating tower adds just enough change to make it feel fresh for a session or two.
