Blast a flashing enemy tank and it drops a random item: a star for faster bullets, a helmet for temporary invincibility, a grenade that wipes the screen, a shovel that turns your base’s brick walls to steel. I still get a little dopamine hit whenever a star drops, because triple-shot spread makes you feel like a god for ten seconds. But then a fast tank slips around the corner and humbles you.
