Zombie Base drops you into a fenced-off compound with one job: thin the mob before it thins you. You steer your survivor with the mouse (or your finger on touchscreens) while the game handles the shooting — your job is positioning, timing, and not getting cornered. Each level spawns a fresh batch of shambling enemies, and the only way through is to clear every last one. The catch? They don't line up politely. One lurches from the left, two cut across the right, and a third appears right behind you, groaning like an old engine. The real hook is how quickly panic sets in. Early waves feel manageable — you can kite the zombies around a crate, let them funnel into a doorway, and pick them off. Then the level design tightens. Less cover. More spawn points. You'll find yourself backing into a corner, realizing too late that the horde has flanked you. The controls are simple but unforgiving: a half-second hesitation means a bite to the shoulder and a chunk of health gone. I died twice on one level because I got greedy, trying to save ammo when I should've just kept moving. The shooting feels satisfying when it connects — zombies stagger, limbs flail, and the kill confirmation pops up like a small reward. Use crates and walls to break line of sight, then quickly reposition to a safer angle. On touchscreens, drag near your survivor for small precise movements rather than swiping across the whole screen.
