The water churns with rotting hands, the raft groans under your boots, and every wave brings another click-to-kill swarm closer.

There's no land on the horizon. No radio. Just you, a janky wooden raft, and an ocean that's decided to vomit up every waterlogged corpse within a mile. Zombie Raft drops you into the middle of a very bad night and hands you one tool: a click or tap that swings whatever weapon you've managed to bolt to the deck. The first few waves feel almost gentle—one or two pale shapes sloshing toward the edge—but that's a lie. By wave four you're spinning in circles because they come from both sides, and the raft's hull starts to look a lot like wet cardboard. I'll admit I underestimated it at first, because the controls are so simple you think it's a baby game. Then a bloated zombie grabs the corner and starts chewing through your floatation barrels, and you realize every second spent reloading is a second spent losing your home. You'll earn bones or scrap between rounds—spend them fast. A better spear, a trap, a reinforced side: each upgrade changes whether you live to see sunlight. The real aha moment for me was learning to let a zombie get close enough to trigger the melee lunge but not close enough to bite. Timing that click is everything. If you panic-spam, you die tired. If you stay calm, you're basically the world's angriest lighthouse keeper.

Upgrade your weapon before the hull—a dead zombie can't chew through your raft. Don't tap continuously; wait until the target reaches your weapon's arc, then strike. Check both sides every couple of seconds because zombies love attacking your blind spot. Save scrap for a reinforced side after wave five, when bigger swimmers show up. If the raft starts tilting, kill the zombie latched onto that side before repairing anything.
